I am def not being flippant and since reading the word 'mucositis' this morning I have done some research on the condition. Sounds uncomfortable and painful and probably takes the pleasure of eating away but I would rather deal with that than having my heart blow up by copping a chemotherapy agent that damages my heart while helping me fight cancer. Again, no flippancy intended but in a past life I was in an extremely pragmatic decision making environment and to me one of the most important proven properties of Bisantrene is the reduction in damage to heart tissue when compared to other widely used agents.
