towie....of course one persons view or views may not be the same as EVERYBODY else, however I think it is fair to say they are illustrative of a view or views held by many in Australia.

Given the number of people who have posted here in defense of this ex St John's employee, I think it would be fair to say that many Australians, by agreeing with her in some way seeking to defend her, shows that Australia or at least many Australians hold to racist views and are lacking in any compassion when it comes to helping others in need of medical care based entirely on the ethnic background or legal status.

Unfortunately, a person in the service of humanity can not pick and choose who they will help. Simple. Nor should they.

Just have a read of the posts above in support of this ex St Johns employee. They range from the ridiculous to just plain racist.
