I know on HC who has no idea at all what racism means.

I do not want racists in this country, but same goes for people who do not understand the meaning of the word. and in which countries it exists and what the effects are worldwide.

It takes away its true meaning. It breeds ignorance to the real racism which kills on a daily basis and creates boat people and asylum seekers.

Is she racist NO! is she stupid YES! Her stand is political, however she brought the service into disrepute. When the first rule of first aid - is "to save a life"

oh by the way a boat person or asylum seeker is not a race of people. Therefore any posters reference to racism and this story is arbitary, unless you can prove she refused treatment based on the colour of their skin or racial background.
