ashamed to be australian, page-9

I'm worried that you can say you are deeply ashamed to be called an Australian on the news of what one person has said in a smallish mining town in WA.

What about the other 20 million people here?

I really don't like sensationalist subject headings when it's a one man band spiel.....

OK.. A lot of people don't like what's happening with the boat people and asylum seekers, but if one was in trouble somewhere and needed help, a massive majority would find they helped regardless, because it's human nature.
Australians DON'T kick people when they're down generally (unless you're in a thug gang of kids that get bored unless they're kicking old peoples' heads in, but don't start me on that!)
