Fact is sheepskin, an awful lot of people voted for Kevin07, and have seen the "real" Kevin since. The super slick sales pitch worked very well in 2007, Rudd was 6 years younger and fired up, and if KR had actually lived up to the sell he would have been in a whole lot better place than now. He may have even not been sacked by his own party!

The spin and BS doesn't work anymore, he can't even use Labor's history over the past six years to support his argument. The people have had enough of the lies and corruption.

The best thing Kevin could do is stop telling fibs, stop lying to the electorate and stop treating the people like fools. If he actually was honest for a change and took time to listen to people and connect with people, he would do a whole lot better. That is where Tony Abbott as a person is beating Kevin Rudd hands down!
