Elpadrino if you go back into the previous posts over the last year you'll find some good ashford coal information. The area is good but its too expensive to get the infrastructure in place to get the material out of there, and where it needs to be to sell it. The government want over 150 million to improve the roads from NEC (now New Hope) and RSN, and they'll provide the other half, but that still begs the question of where does it go from there? Train line to Brisbane? Newcastle?

RSN are looking to get out as they'll never have the money (at this point) to take advantage of the coal deposit.
