"Cumminscorp is moving full steam ahead in its push to break into the international market.

Yesterday, a Chinese group -two representatives from Hydro Solutions Asia and two from China's Ministry of Water - visited the Gaven company to inspect its water-remediation and fish-farming technology.

Meanwhile, company director Warren Greiner and chairman Graham Edney are in Saudi Arabia negotiating to supply seven C-Boxes. which are used to farm fish.

Cumminscorp last year signed a deal with China-based Hydro Solutions Asia, which specialises in marketing water-quality solutions.

The group wants to use Cumminscorp's water-remediation technologies and aquaculture systems in Asia to clean toxic lakes and produce fish.

In May, Cumminscorp and Hydro Solutions Asia will trial water remediation on one of China's heavily polluted lakes.

Mr Edney is a director of Hydro Solutions Asia.

A Cumminscorp spokesman yesterday said the group's focus was to continue to make money from its water tank production and to break into the international market.

"China has lost $60 billion in fish exports to the European market because their water is so polluted," said the spokesman. "They (China) are very keen to use the technology to clean the water and farm fish."
"We hope this visit will lead to further relationships with China."

While it manufactures on the Gold Coast, Cumminscorp would consider shifting its production to China, the Company said.

Mr Greiner and Mr Edney will return from the Middle East next week.

The company, which spent almost six months under voluntary administration, continues to operate under a deed of arrangement.

Meanwhile, creditors owed a total of $500,000 yesterday received a dividend payment of 40 cents in the dollar."
