Oh come on elee, That line is so last century. How is thinking that white, brown, Asian, western, are basically equal , evidence of self loathing? Clinging on to a misplaced sense of superiority , just leaves people overconfident , and ultimately vulnerable. Take note, I think Australians of all races are adapting well. I defy anyone to find somewhere where it is being done a lot better.
Pintohoo, I know what you mean about past societies ,but bottom line , ,European industry, commerce and politics have dominated the world for centuries . By our standards we were superior, we just have to learn that others are taking up our methods. The contempt I talk about comes from people who think we big note ourselves for what we have been vs what we are ,and the tendency for us to try and pull up the ladder we used to get up high , so others can't follow
