Seriously? Still suggesting NSX as a competitor to ASX? NSX isn't in ASX's top 10 competitors.
Anyone here have a broker that supports NSX trading? I don't actually know any that do. The NSX has had 1376 trades so far this year (source:
https://www.nsx.com.au/marketdata/market-summary/). That's about 120 trades per
month. It's also down about 25% on last year. NSX are not exactly beating down the door.
ASX's competitors are Chi-X first, then about 10 other worldwide exchanges, then online non-exchange traders (CMC, Plus500, IG, etc)... and then maybe NSX. ASX's competition strategy will be focussed on two things: how to maintain marketshare over Chi-X, and how to be the market for new listings over the LSE, NASDAQ, etc).
