Since JK took over, they've implemented TAS which allows trades to be settled via ASX Clear and Settlements. Of course, most traded companies will still be those on the ASX200/300, so NSX can't suddenly become big overnight.

DESS is now operational as well.

I think what's going to happen is gradually NSX will start taking a larger share of the small caps sector, and if a few of them graduate to medium/large caps, the market won't ignore them. It will take time; the important thing is a good strategy and execution.

Of course, if ISX wins in court, it's possible small caps start avoiding ASX, which could speed up NSX's growth.
