Even then, I'm not sure who'd be entitled to be part of the class action - it may be that you have to have held at the time of the AGM, may be that you had to hold through the suspension. May be both. Very unclear.

Class action against ASX simply can't happen. If ASX get trounced and it is directly proven that their suspension was 100% bogus, then ISX will be heavily compensated directly, and shareholders benefit by that. Shareholders can't then sue ASX again for the same thing as they've already been compensated through ISX...

I would have thought a class action against ASX could be possible if ISX win provided all details are laid before the courts with ASX being at fault.

Currently, any compensation to ISX directly relates to the impact ASX have caused ISX as a business. This compensation does not consider the emotional and physiological impacts to shareholders especially during one of the worst financial crisis in recent years...

Either way, this will be a good case study for years to come...
