It would certainly be difficult to remove him but nonetheless I think it's important that people have a clear idea and make an informed decision when deciding how much is too much I personally think it's on the side of too much. From my (albeit fairly limited research), CEO pay for similarly sized companies in Hong Kong seems to be on the higher end of 2.5m HKD oo around $450,000. When I bought in to the company, his salary was about that much. It's now over double that if you exclude his trustee role which from my understanding is usually a full time job in itself for most people. And also , last year JW thought it appropriate to have a COO so who's absorbing that work that was required? Anyway, always happy to discuss the positives when I see them.
