The fact the board approves it means absolutely nothing. The question is, did he sell his shares in the full knowledge of a price sensitive issue, before the market announcement ? If so, I'm only a cabbie but I believe they call that insider trading ?????
If he didn't know the placement price 2 days prior, he should be fired anyway by Clyne as he's obviously not trusted with anything of importance within NAB
