Interesting to see Australian companies laying off staff left and right and every sector under pressure bar one..... the big finance companies.
Wonder why nobody in government has put it together yet?
The reason big financials are doing so well is because they have been set up in a system that allows them to easily loot everyone else in the economy.
The Australian economy at large is doomed as 'excess cash' is syphoned off every other sector. That's the advantage of being in a sector which is too important to fail and being too big to fail. You get to suck the lifeblood out of every other sector.
As such the ONLY place to work in Australia where you will be reasonably safe as the rules stand, is for a large financial company.
