Kiwi- The time I sold, decided what I felt was 'wrong' with CCC, re assessed my strategy as objectively as I could. I tried to figure out what good parameters I used in stock picking CCC and what I could keep. I then tried to assess what did let me down and lastly I tried to figure out what parameters were important that I hadnt considered previously.

Not that I have to prove myself to anyone saying where I've invested my money since. But if you really care enough and search my name, you'll see the stock I'm heaviest involved in, you'll see how its performed since I invested and you'll see I started investing in said stock a few months after selling out of CCC.

I was in the same boat as Champ. I believed in CCC and was vocal because I believed whole heartedly based off the good salesman pitch by the company and stock picking newsletters. I tend to be quite trusting so if someone 'suggests' something is true, I take it as truth, instead of being a skeptical prick. One of the major re-workings I had to my investment strategy was to become a dour skeptical man who believed no words without actions which back them up.

I dont know if this was the answer you were looking for Kiwi, or if you just came here to do an "I told you so".

If it was just an "I told you so" post, thank you for caring enough about me to remember, some 2 years down the track, that I used to argue some meaningless point, I'm glad I'm an important part of your life.
