Unions are multi-million-dollar who are their to look after members funds but as the Craig Thomson affair showsthey are not subjected to the same standards and level of oversight as registered corporations.
It is now time for ASIC to watch over the unions and make sure crims like Thomson are court and prosecuted with the full force of the law.
