Did any of you guys read the offending report where they "mislaid" the money.

I checked it out - the amounts are in the wrong column BUT..

and its a big hairy BUT..

The mistake was in the preliminary final reports - not the official final report and the check box at the end of the report you have to tick to state how "preliminary the report is"

This report is based on accounts to which one of the following applies.
(Tick one)
The accounts have been audited.
The accounts have been subject to review.
The accounts are in the process of being audited or subject to review.
The accounts have not yet been audited or reviewed.
The entity has a formally constituted audit committee.

So yes their was a stuff up in the DRAFT final report - not unusual.

It was a matter of listing the loans due in December (this was July remember) as non current debts rather than current.



It could quite simply be ASIC doing their job - if CNP goes down ASIC would need to cover their butts so would need to know what is going on.
