It looks like the wheels of justice are grinding slowly onwards in this matter.
My hope as an AZZG holder is that with this ASIC action finally underway in the Federal Court we will get a reasonably prompt resolution and/or judgement (assuming JC cannot find the funding to chase every legal loophole down a rabbit hole!) and then the possibility of a payout on the directors liability policy being disbursed via the noteholders trust and then finally wound up, allowing us to realise our remaining losses for tax purposes.
I don't know the implications for shareholders, I suppose it could open up the way for a class action if the lawyers thought there were sufficient assets hidden away by the former management to cover their costs?
