I'm not going to pretend I know the full facts of the trial but if Andrew / Fortescue did the wrong thing back in 2004 and its proven in court then its fair they cop the punishment. As Nice One pointed out the company is more than just one man, Andrew may step back into another position at Fortescue and the fines which total around 6 million pale into comparsion to the scale Fortescue is today. Press will have a field day with this, its a tall poppy in court so the negative press may spook investors.
On the Other hand may all be just a witch hunt, come 5 weeks time it will have been all for nothing.
