How about we assume similar shareholder numbers to the res 6 & res 7 votes from July 2020 - Delist from the ASX / Relist on an overseas exchange vote. See screenshot.
The numbers align pretty much perfectly at around 850,000,000 votes with the demerger vote if jk & red5 had participated.
The demerger vote is 300,000,000 with JK & Red 5's 550,000,000 excluded. Total of 850 million if combined.
The same investors that participated in the delist/relist vote would have also most likely participated in the demerger vote based on the corresponding numbers in both are similar.
So the answer your after of the number of shareholders who participated in the demerger vote is around 400
