great minds - i forgot the primary markets offer though. I figured someone like LHC wouldve happily liquidated to a shorter just to get the drag off their books. But youre right, the primary markets one wouldve been an easy deal.
The narrative of "the shorters will suffer" has always been an odd one. You don't trade at a premium, get suspended for ages, and come back higher. Some holders want to hold, some want to sell. But literally no one is thinking "hmm. That long term suspended stock thats under heavy scrutiny, gee I'd love a piece of that."...
