I dont think the ASX litigation "asset" was actually in the accounts as a contingent asset (I would have to double check though), so it was more just creative communication.
From memory when the litigation was first launched the accounts listed it as a contingent asset, but then that dissapeared when the change of auditor occured.
I have never seen or heard of a single market participant that considered the case matierial to ASX.
