Well I am shocked by the Asic statement.

I have not had time to read or consider the 700+ paragraphs, 200+ pages in the judgement.

However, considering the context,

• the time (1+ years from memory) between ISX being suspended and Asic commencing court proceedings;
• Multi year court hearings,
• around 1 year for the court judgment to be delivered
• 700+ paragraphs and 200+ pages of judgement
• delivered after 4 pm on a Friday afternoon

The ability of Asic to provide a comprehensive summary of the judgement and their approach to subsequent actions within 3-4 hours is absolutely incredible.

If only Asic put the same amount of effort into protecting investors as they put into protecting their own reputation we would be much better off.
