This is unbelievable, I'm a GBI holder and someone called me today and asked my thoughts on a GBI/PLT merger...ZERO CHANCE.
Having read this release I'm perplexed that PLT's legal counsel let them release this to the ASX. In any case it is clearly a move to try to bolster the share price for the closing of the SPP. PLT directors IMO are sailing VERY close to the wind on this one!
Red you are correct that PLT is prohibited from issuing securities advice without being a AFSL holder (it clearly has provided advice in this release) and expect a retraction for PLT by COB Friday or early next week.
Why buy the Ordinary Shares when you're just going to get filled and killed by the C-Notes that can convert at ANY time at 7c?
