Just like the SEC, ASIC will not confirm or deny whether a company was, is, or will be under investigation.
This is all incredibly perverse if you think about it. GSW was forced to notify the market that ASIC was looking under the hood but ASIC is under no obligation to notify the market or the Company that an investigation may have ended.
The reason: ASIC doesn't want the liability one way or other other...
