Can I recommend to all those that feel directors have released false and misleading statements or have acted dishonestly to log onto asic.gov.au and fill out a very easy e-complaint form. Takes about 5 minutes to fill out and all you need is View's address.

I have completed one, making two complaints; firstly about the apparently false and misleading statement on the 25th followed by the 'more correct' statement of the 6th, and secondly about the fact a trading halt was not called prior to the announcement, allowing 'those in the know' to dump their holdings yesterday.

The more people that fill one of these complaint forms out, the more seriously ASIC will take them.

Personally I have no problem with losing money from bad investment decisions, but I don't like finding out my decisions are being based on false information and announcements by management.
