Why doesn’t ASIC enforce the securities laws? laws are not any use if not enforced.

The buyback should never have been approved and buybacks need to be more tightly regulated by the regulators.
MQG is only important to Australia’s Defense Minister Marles whose Queanbeyan and East GEELONG homes are financed by Macquarie.

There would be an outcry if Macquarie was bailed out by Albo, it’s capital problems and Shemara are of its own making.

No way should Albo bail out a Macquarie Bank.

Marles should just snarl like the rest of the sholders.

    A shocker.
Time for the regulators to cough up and do some work.
That short percentage might become overwhelming once they realise the cabbage patch is buying into itself.

With so many sellers and fewer buyers, what do you think is going to happen?

The market depth is 2:1 against, twice as many sellers as buyers and there are orders as low as $83, $117 and $127.

$83 is almost half its current SP, Capital problems will probably overwhelm at $83.
