Hi: Well, I'm new to the IG platform too, as my first trade on the CFD was yesterday, so if I can do it, I guess anybody can. I went to alerts, then indicators, then selected EMA cross, then changed it to 9/21 days, then midpoint, (as they don't have a close that I could see), and then went to how I want to be notified, and selected all three options, being pop-up, email and SMS. I haven't received any SMS yet, but I have been getting the emails and pop-ups with no problem. Hope this helps.
