In theory higher interest rates makes risky assets (eg stocks) less appealing than risk free investments (eg gov bonds, savings in a bank account). However I don't think that really applies here as people who invest in a stock like this aren't after little returns each year to merely maintain wealth, most of us here are looking to create large amounts of wealth
