To return to the ASX 300 we need a market cap around $750 mill. Share price about $4.50 from my calculations. This would also make us eligible for the VanEck gold index.
We have dropped below 5 million shares short sold a couple of times in the last couple of weeks only for the share price to run up as it has. We are below 5 million short sold on today’s update but I suspect shares are being sold into the market today to stop the share price rising. I expect to be back over 5 million short sold shortly. Time is on our side with impending announcements and no index rebalancing to enable the short sellers to cover.
