The piont you keep missing Nostradamus is that there is no "natural" trading with spec stocks. ALL of them are subject to vast swings up and down. ALL of them are exposed to bot, day, and shorting.
ASM is no different nor special in anyway to this. Except ASM has made it much easier for it to be done, three main factors are:
(i) poor communication (ii) massive capital requirements (iii) missed timeline
