I am aware of the so called evidence. Be we really don't know through ice cores from the past million years as we were not there. We theorize.

One of the problems in the evidence is we attempt to measure these thing over huge amounts of time over millions of years and plot measurement points say once every 10,000 years or so and compare it to measurements over the last 50 or so years recorded and plotted every second of every day. Useless information as we are not seeing what happened inbetween the 10,000 years or so. We just draw a smooth line between to 2 dots. It removes the extremes as if they don't exist. Also, there is 9,950 different 50 year periods inbetween that 10,000 year measurement.

Imagine a share graph measured monthly over 20 years and we might see it hit a high of $4.60 and a low of $1.01. Imagine the same share graph over 20 years but measured weekly. You may now see a high of $5.90 and a low of $0.75. Now measured daily and we may see the stock had a high of $8.60 and a low of $0.52. Now measured every minute and we may actually see the stock had a high of $14.20 and a low of $0.28.

The volatility is smoothed by less regular measurement points.

Being a graph guru, @acouch understands what I am trying to say whether or not he/she/they agrees with me.

All I am saying is we should not take what we hear from government policies and supporting evidence for granted. More critical thinking is required.
