This ESG woke crap from the company is thanks solely to Rowena. When she took the reigns from Woodall (6 months) before he resigned, the first change she made to the presentation was a full page on ESG.
Has it helped. Nope. Do we have an actual score. I have not seen one. Did we choose VTRE because of their ESG credentials. I don't think so.
This was a hail mary from Rowena, a diversion due to the complex and costly polymetalic ore body at Dubbo. It was something she understands well so she ran with it. Unfortunately when it comes to climate, major corporations virtue signal only and only succumb to reducing carbon if they are made to by Governments.
I still believe Rowena will be signing some offtakes this month. She has too.
