The whole critical minerals and alternative supply chain situation is super complex. Trying to do it when your main supplier(C hina) is the one you want to cut out of the equation.
Then they have control of setting the pricing which determines the feasibility of new mines coming on stream.
Sticky situation.
I just wish ASM had started looking for alternative supplies for the Metal plant earlier than they did.
I think the problem should be fixed next year anyway and maybe that just fits in nicely with the customer demands. This year should provide a lot of clarity on a lot of things with ASM.
