The roundtable formed part of the 45th Joint Meeting of the Australia-Korea Business Council and Korea-Australia Business Council hashtag#JM45 - a three-day event addressing the most recent advancements in the evolving bilateral relationship.Held in Perth, the roundtable was an opportunity for our Managing Director Rowena Smith to progress conversations with potential Korean customers, investors and government officials as we continue to build our mine to metals business. Our Korean Metals Plant has been operational since 2022 and is now ramping up production of light rare earth metals and alloys (hashtag#NdPr hashtag#NdFeB) - the vital ingredients for the high-performance magnets used in a host of advanced technologies and sustainable energy solutions. ASM is building this downstream metallisation capability to support an emerging magnet manufacturing market - a key part of the critical metals supply chain that Korea is looking to develop.
