"I figure that if ASM doesn't have a decent surge ($1.50 plus) before October 2027 (lapse date of the options) then it is not likely to happen, ever."
If ASM fails I will not lose as much holding the options as I would if I held my heads, and I win a lot more if there is a surge of $1.50. Certainly, I will lose overall if there is a large surge after October 2027 and nothing before then.
