With skinny volumes the price will always be more volatile.
I am sure there are plenty like myself who got in very early and are sitting on significant gains.
What this means is that to jump off and back on again on tiny blips, triggers realisation of gains, which means either you or your super fund has triggered a tax problem in the short term.
Ideally holders want to realise gains progressively over time and control the rate of realisation of gains. So getting jumpy while the company has so much incredible upside will cost you tax$$'s in the long term.
Overall this may help explain why many of the longer term investors are loathe to panic in the short term, meaning they are keeping their shares out of the market and sitting on them.
