It would be interesting to record the increase in shorting activity on a positive announcement.
It happens with alot of companies I am looking at.

One of the observation notes I wrote down months ago is:
Sell into announcement between 15 and 30 mins of trading.

Their trades do not look hap-hazzard, they are timed to coincide with how the majority of buyers will act.

These are the numbers Daubechies posted
6th – Trading Halt
* 7th – 463,856
* 8th – 211,084
* 9th – 53,643

The figures below are pink noise.
10th – 118,182
13th – 89,240
14th – 75,563
15th – 152,915
16th – 88,445
17th – 130,018

* There was also 740k shorted on 30/11, the day of the AGM.

All things were positive and so was the increase in shorts.
They knew we were coming and they were waiting for a feed.
