focusing on shorters is often a trap they set for you in order to profit from your panic. Can see from examples like WTC and VUL that it's a manipulative strategy, not a real spotting of a weakness in the stock.
I'm not good at picking the bottom so when something like shorting hits my stock I look at the reasons I bought it; if the fundamentals are still good then the reasons for holding still apply. I ignore the noise and look LT. Have done some day trading but get better results from backing a good LT stock. IMO this is one even if it's tough watching it dip. We know the news will come..
