I think you're totally right. Will wait on today's short volume. Different selling today as had to sell through a big wall.
Only hope for shorts will be a) rebalancing day, assuming there is an insto wanting out (unlikely at these prices) or b) cap raise allowing them to cover.
I will be looking closely at the financials for this quarter. With inflation, if we don't see revenue from metals plant we could see a small CR coming to complete KMP.
