Of course it could be mainly shorters.
The question is why they think they can get away with it.
Are they thinking there is going to be a capital raising and they can buy back there or are they seeing risks we can't see.
We can certainly see they are taking a risk being so exposed to a stock that has so few shares on free float.
It will be interesting to see how it works out.
