The shorting started when the SP hit $14 for the second time.... they came in with large volume and trashed the price convincingly in a matter of a few days. So far it has been winning for them but perhaps they got greedy and think they can keep pressing the bet? Personally, I see buyers soaking up the shares with meaningful sized orders...
What secret negative factors? The 1/4ly was transparent... imo.
