    To be clear do people think that a Dead Cat Bounce occurs only in a sudden violent fall in price?
    Or did we see one recently in a false and very unsettling temporary bounce?
    (Was it a sign of genuine interest or just a trap for the unwary?)

    Median trends tend to eliminate volatility, and give slower but more reliable change indicators.
    (Not always true but enough times to perhaps be helpful on average.)

    Is a DCB less likely after a prolonged period of pain, as seen since November?

    No pain if and when the long term holders are right, but how long to wait O Lord, how long?
