I have been in ALK for ages and as a consequence also have ASM in my portfolio. So I have everything crossed for success.
Where I see risks is that the Yanks start sinking real money into the RE space in the US itself. This being driven by their desperation to screw the Chinese. Rare Earth's aren't rare but processing is laborious and messy. So they took the approach of letting someone else mess up their own back yard.
The consequence of their jumping back into the RE space could be oversupply.
However, ASM has a jump start and what would seem good metallization tech so I wonder why the Yanks don't just make us an offer we can't refuse?
