There is no “they” or behind the scenes hands that control the share price! We might as well begin talking about flat earthers here!
Simply put, ASM has not delivered on key deliverables and this has costed us money, time and opportunity hence the lack of market confidence in ASM’s future promises.

Obviously, some market participants decide to bet against ASM and short its shares, but if ASM does deliver on what it promises, then the shorters will get burnt. For now, the sell side has been right and the buy side has placed too much trust on the managements promises (me included).
