Spoofing is particularly insidious but difficult to prove.
All that long term investors can do is assess the prospects of a company put their money down and monitor announcements, management and the wider markets forces as they occur.
I received my shares from the ALK demerger and did not add immediately due to the amount of fluctuation in SP.
Recently during this market decline I started adding from around 4.80 to 3.40. My average price per share is now exactly $2.00 which i feel very comfortable with.

There's been much learned comment on here regarding ASMs fundermentals and the wider market so I've nothing to add to this but to say seeing share price smashed is never easy. Is 3.20 our floor ? I hope so. glta
