In my humble opinion, inflation appears to have peaked in June, the 0.75% rate hike in the US was anticipated and baked in, while earnings season weren't as bad as many were anticipating. I expect the July inflation figures (released in Aug) will be lower than June figures, and we will see a slowing of rate hikes. Markets responding accordingly to these expected outcomes overnight. Let's hope the worst is behind us, as the supply chain constraints tell us that demand is still very much present for ASM / KMP goods.
