I've never seen a more aggressive and concerted short attack.
If short sellers were confident they wouldn't be selling their largest ever holdings at $2.90 when there's buying demand and there'd be a heap more money to be made by letting it float to higher prices and then sell.
I think they must have arranged with the lenders for more shares over the weekend, having hit their original limit on Friday with the idea being a huge blitz monday to shake everyone up.
