"i know its legal but i morally dont like shorting." - that is in reference to shorting, and what you say is often quoted by shorters who are shorting to manipulate shareprices downward so they can buy back at a lower price (by far the most common use of shorting). In fact, the manipulation is absolutely illegal and the authorities know that, but continue to let it happen - the real question is WHY!!!
