Looking at Commsec buy/sell orders. If I wanted to sell 100,000 shares at tonight’s market prices the last lot of shares I purchase would be at $1.50. This is 9c below todays market price. If I wanted to buy 100,000 shares my last lot of shares would be at $2.29. This is 70c above the current market price.
This could be interpreted as it is a lot harder to buy 100,000 shares than it is to sell. But most likely it does not mean anything at all in a market where the share price is being clearly manipulated via shorting and high frequency trading. I expect a dump of shares tomorrow if the Dubbo approval is announced.
