Just playing with the ASX 200 chart..
i have just used a bar chart so it is clearer, and you can see the years..
chart from the beginning '92 it is a quarterly
interesting i must say.. only once has it penetrated the medianline hence known as (ML) (red)
which was in the year Sept '05 to run and test the upper level of the ML,
Dec'07 to then turn around and, penetrate the Red ML to head to test the lower ML Mar '09
to then head back to test the red ML again.. Sept '21 though did not penetrate
to where we are now which the bar is unfinished..as you can see if you look hard enough.
